The Warhol Model
In nature you have to stay still to see the action around you. Not even ridiculous clothing will scare away nature if you respect it and remain calm.
In the world where I do art it is different. My stillness gets me nothing but an improved portfolio. My trophy case sits empty as the ducks waddle past me.
So I have begun the daily engagement again, pushing, redecorating, sometimes even creating for the sake of attention. Creating art for attention is my MO, but creating attention for my art is very difficult and compromising.
But I guess we all clean our feathers before jumping back in.
